Having worked in some of the largest hospitals in India and abroad, he also has vast experience in treating liver diseases, like fatty liver, NASH, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, liver cirrhosis, including those requiring liver transplant; pancreas and gallbladder diseases. Dr Paliwal is well-trained for using state-of-the-art technology for performing diagnostic as well as therapeutic procedures including advanced endoscopy, colonoscopy, high-resolution manometry, 24-hour wireless and ambulatory oesophageal pH-impedance studies, breath tests, capsule endoscopy, single balloon enteroscopy, ERCP, biliary, gastric and colonic stenting.

Dr Paliwal has received special training in Japan for performing advanced endoscopic procedures like magnification endoscopy, narrow-band imaging for early cancer detection, endoscopic mucosal resection, and endoscopic submucosal dissection currently done by very few doctors in India.
